Tasting Notes:
The 2008 Syrah from the Columbia valley is a fun take on keeping the Syrah dominate in the wine yet adding just a touch of Grenache for a true Rhone varietal experience. The 2008 Syrah has an expressive nose of white pepper, blueberry jam black licorice. The wine enters the palate with rich sweet fruits followed by gorgeous tones of French oak with flavors of roasted meats, spice and vanilla. Enjoy now through 2016.
