Tasting Notes:

The 2010 Tribute is a true Bordeaux blend utilizing all 6 Bordeaux varietals; this elegant blend 25% Merlot, 25% Cab Franc, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Petit Verdot , 9% Malbec and 3% Carmenere is a tribute to our Consulting Winemaker from France, Claude Gros. Together we have created a blend that signifies the growing conditions of Washington State with the mindset of a French Winemaker. The wine is bold in color and offers aromas of ripe cherry currants, blackberries and secondary notes of figs and leather spice. The wine has an ample amount of fine grained tannins that ride the mid-palate giving this blend structure and finesse. The flavors are just as bold with dark fruit enveloping the mid pallet intermixed with lush flavors of cola, black cherries and savory spices leaving a long and firm finish that will have you wanting more!
